Article 1 (Purpose) The purpose of this Rule is to prescribe the matters delegated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government Ordinance on Prevention of Harm from Secondhand Smoke and matters necessary for the enforcement thereof. <Corrected on Sep. 3, 2013>

Article 2 (Standards for Installation and Maintenance of No-Smoking Area Signs, etc.) The standards for the installation and maintenance of signs indicating a no-smoking area under Article 7 (3) of the Seoul Metropolitan Government Ordinance on Prevention of Harm from Secondhand Smoke (hereinafter referred to as the "Ordinance") are as prescribed in the attached Table.

Article 3 (Method of Indicating Bounds of No-Smoking Areas) The bounds of a no-smoking area under Article 7 (3) of the Ordinance shall be indicated by any of the following methods:
1. Reference points and area;
2. Map;
3. Other methods that can indicate the bounds in an easy way appropriate for the circumstances of the designated area.

This Rule shall enter into force on March 1, 2011.
