SEOUL METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE ON THE OPERATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE RESERVATION SYSTEM

SEOUL METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE ON THE OPERATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE RESERVATION SYSTEM

Article 1 (Purpose) The purpose of this Ordinance shall be to contribute to the improvement of efficiency and convenience of the public service by prescribing matters concerning the operation and administration of the public service reservation system.

Article 2 (Definitions) The terms used in this Ordinance are defined as follows:
1. The term "public service reservation system" (hereinafter referred to as the "Reservation System") refers to a system developed to be able to conveniently process reservation, payment, etc. regarding the lease of facilities, use of culture class, etc.
2. The term "information vulnerable class" refers to a class that experiences a difficulty in accessing or using the reservation system due to physical, social, or technical conditions, such as disability, aging, etc.

Article 3 (Duties) (1) The Mayor of Seoul Metropolitan City (hereinafter referred to as the "Mayor") shall prepare the policy required for citizens to be able to conveniently use the Reservation System.
(2) The Mayor shall endeavor to guarantee access and use of the Reservation System by the information vulnerable class.

Article 4 (Surveys) The Mayor may conduct a survey of the use of the reservation system for its efficient use.

Article 5 (Operation of the Reservation System) The Mayor may operate the Reservation System in light of characteristics by users including the information vulnerable class in order to guarantee access to and use of the Reservation System.

Article 6 (Implementation of Programs) The Mayor may implement the following programs for convenient use of the Reservation System:
1. Improvement of functions for convenient use of the Reservation System;
2. Maintenance for smooth operation of the Reservation System;
3. Education to guarantee access and use of the Reservation System by the information vulnerable class; or
4. Other matters necessary for convenient use of the Reservation System.

Article 7 (Building of Cooperation System) The Mayor may build a cooperation system with districts, related institutions and organizations, etc. for the efficient operation of the Reservation System.

Article 8 (Enforcement Rules) Matters required to enforce this Ordinance shall be prescribed as rules.

This Ordinance shall enter into force on the date of its promulgation.
