Article 1 (Purposes)
The purpose of this Ordinance is to protect the lives, health, and property of citizens by providing for matters concerning the efficient establishment, operation, and management of the safety map for the fire-fighters which provides all the information required for a fire-fighting squad to effectively conduct the suppression of fires and emergency rescue activities in fire, disasters, accidents, and other emergency situations.

Article 2 (Definitions)
The definitions of terms used in this Ordinance shall be as follows: Provided, That terms defined in the Framework Act on Fire Services and the Framework Act on the Management of Disasters and Safety, the Enforcement Decrees of the aforesaid Acts, and the Enforcement Rules of the aforesaid Acts shall apply

The Mayor of Seoul Metropolitan City shall formulate administrative and financial support measures, such as the construction of all the necessary information systems, so that fire-fighting squad can effectively utilize the safety map for the fire-fighters at the disaster scene in fire, disasters, accidents, and other emergency situations.

Article 5 (Administration of Authority for Use)
(1) The Director of Fire and Disaster Headquarters shall designate an authority administrator.

The Director of Fire and Disaster Headquarters may hold meetings of the steering committee on the safety map for the fire-fighters to consult on matters concerning the establishment, operation, promotion of utilization, etc. of the safety map for the fire-fighters, and to obtain advice from experts.

Article 8 (Cooperation with Information)
Where necessary for the establishment and operation of the safety map for the fire-fighters under Articles 4 and 5, the Director of Fire and Disaster Headquarters may request relevant departments to provide data and information. In such cases, departments in receipt of a request for data and information shall comply with such request except in extenuating circumstances.

Article 8 (Cooperation with Information)
Where necessary for the establishment and operation of the safety map for the fire-fighters under Articles 4 and 5, the Director of Fire and Disaster Headquarters may request relevant departments to provide data and information.
